Registration

Participants must register directly with our partner GUARANT International in Prague (which operates the Congress Office). Registration takes place via the Internet on the Congress website www.ede2011.com and by fax.

                                 
Conditions of Registration

After submitting your registration you will first receive an automatically generated e-mail with your password. You will need the password to log into the online service area (where you can pay the registration fee or make the hotel reservation).

You will than receive the Letter of Confirmation (either by e-mail or fax) with information on payment methods and an invoice.

The Letter of Confirmation must be presented at the Congress venue to receive your participant's badge and Congress documents.

Registration Fees

The early booking discount is granted only if registration and payment of the registration fee are received by the Congress office in Prague by June 15, 2011 at the latest.

The regular registration fee for registration between June 16, 2011 - September 14, 2011 can only be granted if registration and payment of the registration fee reach the Congress office in Prague by September 14, 2011 at the latest.

Online registrations and online payments are possible until September 27, 2011. Starting September 28, 2011 please register directly on site in the "Clarion Congress Hotel Prague".

Registration Fee Includes:

- Participation at the Coming Together Evening on September 29, 2011
- The coffee breaks during the Congress
- Lunch on September 30, 2011
- Gala Evening on September 30, 2011
- Congress documents
- Entrance to the accompanying exhibition

Accompanying Person´s Fee Includes:

- Entrance to the accompanying exhibition
- Coming Together Evening on September 29, 2011
- Gala Evening on September 30, 2011

Hotel and other costs are not included in the registration fee.

Special offer for E.D.E. members

If two members who work in the same institution register, the fee will be reduced by 25 % for the second participant. For registrations of three or four members from the same institution, the fee for the third and fourth participants will be reduced by 50 %. The address of the establishment must be the same for all participants. This offer applies to a maximum of four participants and only for registrations prior to June 16, 2011.

To use this offer, please write a note “discount” and the names of your colleagues in the note box which is included in the Registration Form.

Payment Conditions and Terms of Payment

Registration fees must be paid in Euro to: 

• Credit Cards

Accepted credit cards: Mastercard/Eurocard and VISA.

Please use the online payment system which will be at your disposal after you log in. Please note however that payment using the online payment system is only possible after receiving your Letter of Confirmation.

In case you would like to use other credit cards such as Diners Club or American Express, please note, that these will be charged in local currency – Czech crowns (CZK) at the exchange rate of the Czech National Bank on the date of payment. The approximate exchange rate is 1 EUR = 24,449 (January 2011).

For payment using Diners Club or American Express Card please print the Credit Card Payment Authorization Form, fill it out and send the signed form by fax to the Congress Secretariat in Prague: + 420 284 001 448 or a scanned copy via e-mail: ede2011@guarant.cz. The form must be signed by the card holder.

• Bank transfer

Please note that this option is only available until September 7, 2011, after which payment must be made only by credit card.

The participant’s name should be clearly legible, otherwise the payment cannot be identified.
All payments made by bank transfer must be the net of all bank charges. The payer pays the bank charges of his/her bank, and the beneficiary pays the charges of his/her bank, if any.

Cancellations and Refunds

The Congress Secretariat must be notified in writing about any cancellation of the registration. The appropriate refunds will be made after the Congress. The following cancellation conditions will apply:

The registration fee for students is 100 Euros and includes:

- Participation at the Congress
- Participation at the Coming Together Evening on September 29, 2011
- The coffee breaks during the Congress
- Lunch on September 30, 2011
- Congress documents
- Entrance to the accompanying exhibition

The participation in the gala evening on September 30, 2011 is not covered by this fee.
The registration is possible only by fax/e-mail. The registration fee must be paid by bank transfer until September 7, 2011. Please use the following registration form:

Change of reservation/substitutes

For cancellations after 14 September 2011 there will be no refund of the registration fee. However substitute participants are completely welcome. Please contact the Congress Secretariat in this event. Substitutes pay a service charge of 25,– Eur.
